I paid 9300, but that included the dealer paying off 7800 that I still owed on my 2013 gsxr 750 (which I traded in)

I paid $5300 otd for my 2011 reddish copper/raven FZ6R with 800 miles on it. It also already had a fender eliminator kit and a two bros exhaust system on it.

I paid about $2500 in total for my 2012 FZ6R Raven with 6000 miles.

Oh and that's Canadian so it's like $1800 with "real" money :)

Wow, excellent deal. How'd you pull that off?
Sure is :)

I picked up a 2002 CBR600F4i with about 22,000 miles in a Fall sale really cheap for $1700 US. Changed the oil and filter $65, removed some stickers and crap from the previous owner and put the bike online in a "looking to downgrade from supersport" ad.

So i did my own searching as well and found a for sale ad with the FZ6R, had it listed for $4,400 so i contacted him and asked if he had any interest in upgrading to a CBR600F4I supersport and he right away said "yes i'd trade for that bike" so we sent about 10 emails back and forth and he wanted to get together and swap. Got together and did up the paperwork, swapped ownership and keys and off we wen't.

Now the CBR is "worth" more then what i paid for it obviously but still in terms of out of pocket it was a total steal. The FZ6R is mint and doesn't have a single scratch not to mention the low mileage, it's only had 2 owners and neither of them rode very much it seems.

Plus i know that he will love the CBR as they are very good bikes anyways so i don't feel guilty :p. But yeah that's the story, i got lucky for sure and i know that.

Love the FZ and i think i'll be keeping this one for a long time.

Picked up my 09 fz6r for $2000 from a buddy who was about to have a baby. Has 5300 miles. He was also a service technician at a Yamaha dealer so I know its tip top shape. I loveee it!

3200$ for mine, 2009 with 2000 miles on it :). White, mint, mostly stock (except the lowering link which I removed and sold for 50$). I asked the owner for 3000$ (and he almost buckled), but since he drove 150 miles to deliver it at my house and appear to be a very nice dude, I couldn't make myself the bad guy....

2850 for mine. 2011 w/ 16500 miles. Runs and rides straight, but PO dropped it on the left side and fairings are scratched up pretty bad. I'm thinking I can do some temporary patches with bondo and paint or wrap since I have always liked the look of Yamaha's naked bikes and I'm hoping to convert to XJ6n by the end of the year.

Not sure if that's a good price, but here in SoCal they (2009-2011) seem to be averaging $3500+/- for the same or higher mileage.

With that in mind I'm pretty happy with my price, especially since I got the tank color I like (that coppery/red/orange one). :)

Just bought mine yesterday.
2009, black, 6500 miles, pristine condition, except a scuff on one mirror and bar end.
Paid $3,400 and the owner throw in a set of side bags, a windscreen, a rain cover, and another tire!
