Hi all,
Just wondering what kind of things I could do to my 2010 FZ6R to really make it look my own. I don't want performance mods yet, I love the feel of the bike at the moment and everything seems pretty perfect. Would only possibly consider lowering it a tiny bit some time in the future.

But I want some things to do to it to make the looks of it stand out, at the moment it's just the average old black with a tiny bit of red. I have recently put new clear indicators on and a tidy tale but that's it. (Not in photo)

Thinking of getting a custom paint job done to it some time in the future, got no idea what yet but yeah, anyone have any ideas on some things I could add, remove or change to personalise it a bit?
Thanks!

That's quite an oxymoron. You want someone else to tell you how to personalise your bike and make it your own? Hmmm. Take all the stickers off. Put fz1 bars on. Shorty leavers. Lower the front end. Put a ixil dual hyperlow exhaust on it. LED intergrated taillight. Flush mount front LED indicators. Smoked double bubble screen. Add a usb charging port. Remove the aussie version throttle restriction and smog pump. And your be all tricked out and personaliesd. But don't come riding in Bendigo with me. Might not be able to tell our bikes apart.

Graphics and fender eliminator are good bang for the buck.

Mix and match graphics from other years and models of Yamaha might be cool. I have always liked the classic Yamaha design. Putting various model numbers into Google Image search will pull a lot of ideas.

Visiting the R6 and R1 forums should yield a lot of ideas. Stay away from Hayabusa, however! :)

I think paint job is the best way to make it stand out, wouldn't mind painting mine in vermillion fire that was used on phase 3 ho's .

Oh cool, got a quote to get mine hydro dipped apparently they can do it for $1300, not 100% sure what I would get if I got it done but was thinking maybe a poker/joker theme possibly.
And I'll probably just will get the rest of the silver parts on it powdercoated black.
