I'm 48 years old, and have owned about 12 bikes in my life, and my passion is touring, either sport or adventure(though I think I was adventure touring long before they gave it a name), lol.

Anyway, I'm looking for another bike. so, I'll jump over to the appropriate forum and see what you guys have to say!

Yes, and the 10mm in general. But my real love is for Colt 1911's. and lever guns.

Yeah, and, it seems I like things that are misunderstood. Kind of like this fz6r I'm getting.

Some people just can't wrap their head around these concepts.

Welcome to the forum.
With a more comfortable seat, (uncomfortable seats being universal oem on bikes) and adding some soft or hard luggage this bike makes a great tourer. Not as good as the larger bikes, but in exchange you get better mpg and if it is for only you on touring then all the better to save the gas over a bigger bike. Though this one will handle 2 up also.

Marthy and a few others have really put this bike through long touring rides.
