There has been a lot of talk about increased performance on here...and I believe that changing the cam was the better option...in fact Marthy had done that... do a search for cam...Just curious how expensive head work is on an inline 4?
Totally hypothetical situation I was thinking in my head nothing I was going to attempt to do.
Guy on fz6r facebook page is porting his bike. He already has fz6 cams. I'm happy with the full Marthy power package (exhaust, maps, fz6 cams, etc.). The head could always come off and get shaved to increase CR a bit and clean up some port. But the gain would be very minimal, not the 70s anymore where ypu coild gain 50 HP from a good porting job.
If you get the "Marthy package" done right and well tuned you will be happy. I personally think that was about as good as it could get without dumping another $1000-2000 to it.
