Grunge brush fail

Maybe this should be in the how to...fix a grunge brush....

I should add this happened after 3 month and 3,000 miles!

That stuff fixes everything. Ive fixed an oil pan and engine block, fused plastic together, fixed a foglight.

Damn, that sucks. Looks like it's been seriously used. Is that in the future for mine, with normal wear and tear, or were you seriously cranking down it?

My incident occurred while cleaning someone else's chain - I was spinning the rear tire with my right hand, holding the brush with my left with the bristles at the top. I don't know if my hand got tired of holding the brush tight or what but the brush rolled in between the chain and sprocket and snapcrunch! It was over

They should really make these out of metal, I'd pay the extra money.

Hey I don't see a problem...there are four sides to a chain and it divides evenly now . But seriously I found a chain brush that isn't plastic that looks like that (two brushes) and I honestly don't see the advantage of the third brush, is there?

I have heard allot of stories about this happening.. I bet the cleaning chemicals slowly weaken the plastic then it just happens after a year or two, or x # of cleanings about... Built in way for you to keep buying their product every so often and not just replacement bristles.. They figure $14 every 2 yrs people wont think much of it..

Regardless, I like mine and will keep buying them!

Aluminum would be nice though if would come out with those again!!

I use an old toothbrush... Use it once and throw it away...

Mine broke too. It was the second or third time I used it. Cheap plastic is my conclusion on why it broke. It should not have snapped so easily.
