Hi

Time to introduce myself.

My name is Paul and based in Sydney Australia, I have wanted a bike for a long time and shortly I will be getting my learners ( 2nd december)

After alot of research I have set my heart on a FZ6R so I thought I would join here and find out more...

My usual ride is this which is pumping out about 360hp after a few mods. :)

Really looking forwards to a bike :)

is that a ford focus??? that thing is clean!!! Welcome bud feel free to bug any of us for answers if you cant find what you are looking for

Yeah a Ford Focus RS... not many of them in Australia.

I did it!


yesterday I put a deposit down on a 2013 FZ6R

Pick it up next Saturday very nervous but cannot wait...

Its a white and red one and as soon as it started up an I heard the engine I had to have it!

I think I got a great deal on it which I think is all that matters!

and where abouts in Sydney are you, i got mine few weeks ago and I'm liking it so far.

Appears we are getting more and more members in the Sydney area.

We might have to organise a meet and great and ride up the putty or old pac one day when I get back up to the burbs' early next year.

Where did you buy it from? I got my White 2013 in June brand new ride away for $9390. Good thing is that they seem to hold their value quite well being a LAMS bike. is your new one still LAMS or as it been tinkered with?

BTW - Only milk and juice...

Welcome, a lot of aussies on here. Holy crap I hope your dollar is worth a lot more than ours! I got my 2012 brand new in july for 6300 US. also the red/white. But the 2013 is a little different I think it has the red frame bar as well. I added some red to mine because it was just the shock, rim tape and decals so I added red fairing bolts couple stickers, gas cap cover and red grips. PUt on flush mount signals and some red LEDs and I think she looks awesome now. Welcome again and you will love this bike, just be careful and get some good gear!

they offered me a discounte first couple of services, but I live 7 hours away from there so that likelyhood of that ever happening!

Well I got it this morning!! very happy boy

One thing that is intriguing me is that it used to be owned by Yamaha Australia

The vin ends in 000001

I have emailed Yamaha Aus to see if there is any significance in the VIN
