GoPro Hero 3 in helmet

Watched R1Chronicles and thought Id try this.... Doesn't look really good and the Velcro doesn't really hold it/keep it steady that well. I'm thinking of trying Command Strips.

If it doesn't work out Id like to put it on my chin but (not sure if you can see on this pic) but this helmets chin is very "pointy" so the mount doesn't go on there at all..

Any help/thoughts would be appreciated! If not I have to put it on the side (not really a fan cuz it sticks out too far and looks awkward IMO)

Have you tried the curved or flat mounts our by where your ear would be?

or above the shield (when it is in the open position)?

I have never liked the chin position because it impeads your view.
It will fit there.. I just don't like how far it sticks out to the side.. lol I rode to work today with it inside of my helmet like my first pic and didn't impede the view at all..

but seems like I may have to attach it to the side.

Mount a curved or flat slightly to the side of the chin and you can bring it back center using arms or the goose neck.
On the goose just use the neck part ignore the clamp.

I will test it out tomorrow.. Seems to sit back a little more and leaned back.. So hopefully footage will be better and stable
