FZ6R seat compatible for XJ6F.. ?

It's the two piece US seat that has the base, ours does not (XJ6 Diversion F here).

Bert, looking at your pics - that seat base, is that the FZ6R one or the XJ6? I have an XJ6N, with the stock one piece seat, and I don't have that seat base? THIS picture shows it best...

Sorry for the confusion -THIS image i posted is a reversal of what I did....kind of instructions for See Red from Chi town to install my stock banana seat on his bike, as he was looking into shipping to recieve my stock banana seat. See the below attached image of what my seat look like Under my stock banana seat

So the those parts were NOT on my bike, I ordered the following
Seat Base -is called Seat Base Under in order sheets
the rear plate ("Remove This" in picture)
and some relevent bolts

Then shifted the Seat Latch

After all of that I have found it is easier to move around on the FZ6R seat and the pillion seat helps to stop my arse sliding too far back if I am unprepared for it. My wife prefers the comfort of the pillion pad too.
The FZ6R seat has raised my seating position by approx 1" which is only just noticeable but
