just curious, have you tried both tips to see how much louder the one is vs. other?
 
I'd used both tips quite a bit... Most normal riding was w/ the P1 tip. If it was a daylong trip though, the P1X tip got rid of the 4k-6k drone, which was useful for the long straight sections of road.

Pricing is all OBO. That includes shipping for a rather large/heavy object. Additionally, this includes the two exhaust tip inserts, each of which are ~$32/ea. If it would make you feel better, then $710 + shipping, OBO. :D

:eek:I have the tbr, shoot for cheaper. I got mines brand new shipped for $740 :thumbup:

Before you give up completely...

I'm still thinking about the cowl... I have a black ("raven") bike, but as I would be carving up the cowl to make it suitable for mounting a fuel cell, a rattle can of paint would solve that.
