FZ6 around the country - a planning thread

here is an idea that i think many would be game for if you are... on each leg of the trip a fellow forum rider or riders can ride that leg with you or a part of that leg if you are riding through their part of the country.... this would give everyone an opportunity to meet you and others... just an idea.... im in teh upstate SC area and there are a couple others in the area and im sure we could all meet you in maryville or something like that... let us know what u think

Just a heads up again...going all the way up the 5 in California is going to bore the crap out of you...yes, in some areas you can max out the bike on the straightaways, but it's fields of nothing to see.

You'll be much happier taking the 5 up to Los Angeles, then take the 10frwy to the 101N. Go along the coast with PCH (highway 1) once you hit san luis obispo for the greatest ocean/cliff ride you will never ever forget.

Forget the 5 north after LA...it SUCKS!!! I've done it many times in car and bike =(

ps: depending if you do that leg from Los Angeles up to Carmel (Monterey Bay) I may just ride with you! It's the most beautiful thing...
