Flash for iPad, iPhone. When damn it?

When the hell are these corporations gonna stop being obstinate and give "the people" the ability to view web sites and videos that are Flashtarded, on their apple devices?

I mean really. Can't we all just get along?

I do a lot of surfing with my iPad (and iPhone for that matter) when I'm out and about because it's easier to carry around than my ThinkPad.

I can't post or view (sometimes) things that are Flash oriented with either device and it sucks.

Any of you smart folks out there have an idea when these heathens will get their individual acts together and let the rest of us enjoy our beloved devices to their full potential?

Well for 1) Most web sites are just starting to use H.264 codec (or whatever it is) so you can see it on the iPhone. 2) I heard Adobe is killing mobile Flash so hopefully everything will start to become H.264.

It will never get Flash support. Why? Because HTML5 is going to be the death of Flash and Silverlight.

Flash will hurt the battery life and snappy experience of ios. Apple won't allow that. Flash is on its way out. Things would be different if adobe didn't screw Steve jobs back when apple was starting. Since then, apple wants adobe gone. Apple is now the biggest company in the world so they know what they're doing.

Flash will never die, there are just so many uses outside of web. But it might become unpopular for video hosting websites.

Plus Adobe spent a lot of money getting Flash from Macromedia.
