new top was on the freeway with little to no traffic in orange co. going 91mph. only for a brief few sec's. but man it felt stable and wanted to go faster. :thumbup:

Talking about break in period. My bike is over 2 months old and still only has 15 miles on it. I have yet to ride it since the salesman rode it home for me. I'll be home on 1 June to finally get on it and get the feel for it. Wish me luck guys I don't drop it. I'll put my frame sliders on it before I do just in case.

Just take it easy and you'll be fine... the bike has a nice and smooth power/torque band and won't give you any surprises if you ride with any type of responsibility at all...

I wonder if the american bikes are the same as the canadian ones. I've been to the drag strip and my speedo doesn't match the slip at all. it's almost 10mph more then your actually going.

Mine's 8.5% high on a Canadian model...
My speedo reads 108-109 km/h to actually be driving 100 km/h. Verified by friends in cars using cruise control (I followed them at pre-set speed intervals) and also by a GPS. We tested speeds from 50 km/h right through to 120 km/h, and the 8.5% is consistent. Think I might buy one of those "Speedo-Healers" to correct the problem. The high reading also accelerates the odometer by 8.5%, which will prematurely depreciate the bike (10,000 km would read as 10,850 km).

I got on video, me on the FZ6R wide open throttle up to around 100mph and next to me as an FZ6 with TB exhaust.. He left my ass in the dust haha, I just need to find out if he remembers if he was wide open throttle or not haha..
