Could someone explain the revisions to the FZ6R based on the year from 2009 to now. I saw the wiki on the FZ6 but I can't seem to find anything on the FZ6R.
Thanks!
Correction: New Grab bar in 2013. <barf>No difference in engine or body except color changes.
True, forgot about that. Wish I could forget permanently, it's hideous.Correction: New Grab bar in 2013. <barf>

Yeah, kindof like Robocop 3. We all try to forget it ever existed. :thumbup:True, forgot about that. Wish I could forget permanently, it's hideous.
I 2nd the marthy exhaust. Highly recommend retrofit from Chad (Rabbitman109) as well.Marthy exhaust fits all years.... that's all that matters!
Other than the grabbar and colors.... nothing we know of.
Agreed. The red frame with white looks really good to me.I actually like the red frame a lot with the white bike. If that scheme had been available in 2009, I'd have bought that instead of what I have. I love white bikes and obviously I love the three color scheme of black, red, and white. Had the white bike not come with purple graphics under the clear coat on the 2009 bike, I'd have gone that way.
Scott_Thomas, it might be a long shot but have you heard anything on Miller's Yamaha in Uniontown,PA?

I don't think so. Color changes and grab handle are the only differences I have noticed. I actually like the new style grab handles as they seem easier to grasp when needed. The original style is more integrated though.Im pretty sure there is some fairing differences in the later models. up near the gas tank.
They all have a catalytic converter. The C is "California Compliant" with the fuel evap canister system. B is simply year model 2012. Mine's a FZ6RYL, Y being 2009, and L being Purpleish Blue Metallic. If it was a FZ6RYCL, it would be a 2009 Purplish Blue Metallic with an evap canister.Old thread, I know.
I recently bought a white 2012 FZ6RB(C).
What do the "B" and "C" stand for?
My guess is the "C" is for the catalytic converter?
