Revzilla.com is your friend.

I believe Alpinestars sells jackets at a decent price that have optional Chest guards as well. But yea, w/e jacket you buy at least upgrade the back protector... As for overpants, i'm thinking of getting these once I get the $$$

Firstgear HT Overpants - RevZilla

More targeted towards fall/winter but you can remove the liner for hotter weather I believe.

and when I get some real money, this is my dream jacket...

Here's another idea. You can always buy kevlar jeans and put these underneath them:

They look new, will do some more research on em. might get a pair myself.

what you guys think about "Mesh Sports Armored Motorcycle Jacket" is that a good material or leather is better?

What about tri-tex

1.2-1.4 leather will always be better than most everything, when the leather is proper fit. leather folded over will rip quick as abrasion resistance is reduced.
MNGreg speaks wisely. If you can afford good, tight fitting quality leather with armor that's the ticket. I made the jump and don't regret it one bit. But Motoport has textile gear they say is 10X stronger than leather. From their site: "The only Mesh motorcycle jacket that provides better protection than road racing leather. The Air Mesh Kevlar Jacket is 10 stronger than new competition grade leather."

Judging from objective testimonials I see on other forums and reviews, it sounds like they are for real. Definitely worth considering....
