Firstly, wow, I dropped the ball on this one! I thought it was MAY 27, but it's not, it's APRIL 27, next weekend!
I usually organize the local ride to the College Park Tuning meet, which has been growing every year. Like last year it's in Bowie at the old Bowie Baysox Stadium, think they call it PG Stadium now. The show is 8am-3pm, it costs $2 and a can of food or $5 to get in, all proceeds go to Martha's Table, one of our area's largest food banks.
Thinking about leaving my house around 10 or 11am, hit about 30 minutes of highway, then take the roads through the agricultural research center and the nature reserve through Beltsville out into Bowie. This one lane road is nice and windy but you can ride triple digits through some of it if you have brass balls. Our group likes to travel on the quick side, but nothing that fast and we pride ourselves on keeping the group together, watching each other's backs.
Confirmed riders as of right now are:
Mistah T FZ6R
John Ninja 250
Joe Ninja 650
Brice ZX6R 636
Billy GS500
There are a good number of local riders I'm sure will join up. I see us rolling in at least 10 deep. All makes and models welcome. If you're in, let me know. Sorry for my schedule mishap. Spread the word!
