I saw this video and wanted to share.Although its a Suzuki dirtbike instead of a Fz6r, it should give some people a better idea of how a clutch works and whats beneath the clutch cover.

I've never replaced my own clutch, but I plan to start.I had a Honda Dealership change my dirtbikes clutch the last time. The basket had alot of grooves worn into the fingers.I noticed the mechanic pulled my basket and filed the grooves away instead of using a new basket.I'm not sure if thats a tip, or if that was shady, but I wanted to share and ask.
I still have at least half to 2/3 of my clutch left in my Fz6r.It will be at least a year before I replace mine.I just wanted to get a discussion going again in case anyone else needs to soon.
