You are correct, found the same thing. Gonna check fuses carefully before pulling the pump out.

Assuming gas is coming out the hose (and the fuel rail is clean) the injectors are next to pull. Yeah, that sounds ugly. I've been trying to think of a way to do it that doesn't spew gasoline, and I've got nothing.

Thinking.......... If there is a plug in the fuel line before the injectors, it won't be hard to find. If something plugged all the injectors? If it's a solid, you're screwed. It's kind of like a bit of sand in a carburetor jet. Been there, had that.

It would take a big ole' something to block a fuel line. A same big ole' something to block the rail.

Does the 6r have an inline fuel filter? I honestly hope so, but I haven't had reason to look for one.

I've had the tank up many times. I don't recall seeing a filter.

If when you pull the hose off, it doesn't spew gas, then it's easy.

No in-line filter, it's built into the pump. I probably can't test it tonight, but tomorrow for sure. I'm losing faith that it's a fuel problem unless there's a fuse or relay causing this problem. Trying to avoid taking her to a mechanic, but in the end it may come to that. The pump definitely cycles which doesn't mean it's working, but I'm leaning toward it's not the pump now.

Yeah, definitely on my long to do list, lol! Thanks everyone for good ideas. It's just weird, sounds like it cranks fine (like normal), but when I roll throttle it gurgles for lack of a better word. More frustrating, because I don't have time to work on it.

Pull your dipstick as well as the fill plug and give your oil a sniff. See if there is fuel in the crank case.

I am guessing you have cranked the engine quite a bit since it died? If so and you have fuel delivery still, I am willing to bet there is fuel in your oil from the lack of "bang". If that is the case, I feel safe to say you can rule out the fuel system.

So no blown fuses. Not sure if there is a bad relay. Just got done with dinner so now gonna see if any fuel is coming out of the pump.

So here's what's happened so far. Checked fuses didn't find a bad one. Checked line going into fuel rail and when I pulled it off gas came out so fuel is definitely going in. So I disconnected pc5 and tried to start. Pretty much the same as with the pc5. Here's the weird part, I tried starting with no throttle and it just cranks, then tried with throttle cracked open all the way while holding starter. Did the gurgle sound and then actual sounded as if it may try to turn over, but I saw a flash (it was outside and dark) and tried again. This time I held it and flames came out of the exhaust and even stayed burning for a couple secs after stopping the attempt. Any ideas? Didn't wanna keep trying at that point. Problem may be too much gas in there right now? Wonder if I should drain gas out of fuel rail and pull throttle bodies off?

Definitely, can't ride until I get it figured out. If I can't get it soon I will have to take it to get it looked at.

That's a definite possibility. I have been talking with Marthy and he suggested if nothing else pans out to check cam alignment. Could definitely be out of whack and that would cause major issues. Hate to tear into her again since I really don't have the time, but I'm starting to think I'll have to. Just hope if chain slipped or gear is loose that nothing is f'd up.

Classic symptoms of a flooded engine, although the flames are a bit extreme. Fuel is obviously getting to the motor. From now on keep the throttle wide open when cranking. That ***may*** help clear it out - if you don't set the garage on fire first...

Oh it's flooded. After doing some searching it does seem my timing may have advanced or retarded. Not too hard to fix if there's no damage, but pain in *** and time consuming. I put fz6 cams in my bike in February. Possible that tensioner failed or somehow slipped a tooth.

So after speaking with Martin (Marthy) I have ordered a new CCT and gasket (cam chain tensioner). Apparently after removing and placing back into bike CCT's have a tendency to go bad. I did hear a little noise when I started bike leaving work, but blew it off and not much I could do, but ride home. Didn't really notice after leaving work anyways. Timing must have slipped when tensioner failed causing the bike to die. Bike is sparking and receiving fuel, just not at right time. Valves are probably closing at the wrong time. As long as there is no damage it should be an easy fix for me since I just did the cam swap a few months ago. Definitely should go faster then the first time, but still more time consuming then I'd like. No riding for at least another week waiting on the part. Guess I can prep though and make sure timing is properly set and then just throw in the tensioner when it arrives. :mad::mad::mad::mad::surrender::surrender::surrender::surrender:

Only part I didn't have to do is the degreeing of the cams. Marthy took care of that part. He did give the degree in a post that work best. I think it's 105 ILC 102 ELC. Don't quote me on that though, I may have them backwards.
