Last saturday was nice outside so I decided to go wash the bike.
Turned into the wash going about 10-15mph and I was not at all expecting as much gravel as there was dumped at the entrance.

I slid about six feet, the bike slid about eight feet.

The bike is clean though!

Oh well. I only got a few scratches on my arm, nothing major at all. (Good ole tuck-n-roll.)

(Crashing the dirtbike hurt the pride a little less. Your not suppose to crash a road bike.)

Sorry to hear about your slide. But maybe you can use it as an excuse to get a groovy custom paint job! If not, I suspect it wouldn't cost much to bring in your fairings to a body shop and get them painted blue.

Yeah, gravel on the edges of entrances/exits can catch you by surprise real quick, especially since you are trying to get into or out of moving traffic.

Oh always! Helmet and jacket. Only thing hurt was my pride and my arm just a tad.

I got new front blinkers installed today, I'll post pics tomorrow.
