Bar end signals..anyone?

Came across this on kickstarter!
Looks like a good idea if anybody is interested.

Those are cool, but not sure I would make it my only type of signal if I ever did something like that... they don't stand out enough for me.

Great idea, certainly. Ton of $, yes and no. I've learned that most mods on bikes cost about $100. If you get a set of Protons or other high end turn signals, they cost around that $100 mark (at least when I was looking last year), so $125 for a set of these doesn't seem extreme. Besides, flushies are plastic, these are metal.

Asthetically I'm not a huge fan though. When I had bar end mirrors on my last bike, I loved the look and the mirrors, but it made the bike feel so much wider, especially squeezing by the wife's car to get in our tiny garage. These look like they stick out quite far.

Doesn't look like he's gonna reach his goal though. If he's getting close I might toss him $5 or $10. I love to see people innovating and thinking outside the box.

I watched the pitch, ect & who knows, maybe it will take off but it seems like the guy only has prototypes & is charging a lot for those things thus far...

You can get other stuff like this, but they are all around $150.

Just Google bar end signal and you will find them.

My Boss has a 61 Bimmer R60 and the bike has bar end signals too. Not new tech but his are pretty slick!

Neat idea, but if I was spending that much, I would be getting Rizoma. I do like that he is thinking of something new.
