I went riding yesterday, 80 degrees, sunny...
I had several "hey baby", "hot stuff" and the occasional female shout so the ladies think the bike is HOT!
I had one guy honk at me at a light, I lifted my tinted visor and he said "man can you do a wheelie on that thing" My response: I put down my tinted visor and ignored him.
While getting gas, I had 2 dorks tell me that my bike looked nice and asked me how fast will it go, my response: "faster than your car" (side note) the female riding back seat was smiling at me.
I dont care if people think its a started bike or not. For me the money was right and lets face it, its a decent machine. Most people dont even ride and think all bikes are "cool" and cant tell the difference between a 600 or a liter bike nor do most non-riders even know what that means.. As far as other bikers on the road, they ride their ride and ill ride mine. I see people on true sport bikes bent over stretching their backs at traffic lights while im as comfortable as can be with the upright seating position.
Ive had my new bike about a month, just turned 1,000 miles yesterday.
