Ok so far this is what I have been able to find besides the stuff on the yamaha site.

Puig Windshield; says it will be in oem shape and is offered in stock form or tinted
http://www.indysuperbike.com/customer/product.php?productid=4441

Dynojet Power Commander; best I can tell it is a piggy back ecu controller that is very customizable for another 200 bucks you can get a auto map feature but I wasn't able to find any reviews of it to see how it was. Other wise best I can tell this will be the best "power adding" mod you will be able to do

(also if you go to their website you can find the dealers and tuning places that are close to you)

Fender eleminator bone series; I emailed these guys to find out some details like would it work with the stock blinkers and tag light but have yet to hear anything back. From the picks I have seen online for the other bikes it looks like just a metal bracket that will bolt up to the stock bolting holes(assumed) with two mounting points on either side for blinkers. Hopefully these guys will get back to me and I will be able to provide more info. I searched on the forums and was unable to really find anybody that got one for the fz6 that gave a good review.

(also listed as out of stock/special order)

Flush mount led ghost signal; again I emailed these guys to make sure this was not just a universal signal set and that it would be actual flushmount and I have yet to hear anything back for the price I would hope they would be actual flush mount.

(also listed as out of stock/special order)

goodridge s/s brake lines;well when looking at this stuff it is a bit confusing there are several sites selling them but I can't tell if it is for front and back or just front or just back or what I am not going to link because I dont want to point somebody in the wrong way. Also looking at their site there is not anything listed for the fz6r so be careful if this is something your looking for.

Comfort seat; A layer of gel built into this seat increases rider comfort. A unique carbon fiber weave pattern used in key areas for extra grip. Features the FZ6R logo.

All of the links I put up are the lowest prices I could find, some of them are the only links.....

For exhausts right now as far as I know Werkes is the only place that told me they were looking into it. Last update I got from them was that they were trying to locate a local bike to I guess see if it was something they would be willing to do.

One thing I will stress now that you have browsed through my glob of words is, it seems like most companies are on the fence about making stuff for our bikes. If you are interested in something from a particualr company contact them and let them know you want it and hopefully after enough of us have they will see the light and let us throw our money at them

I will try and keep this thread updated as more stuff becomes available, and if you guys see somthing that I have missed put it on here let us know whats out there!

I expect getting parts will be an uphill struggle for the first year or so, but the bike seems popular so I expect it will take off.

Thanks for doing all the legwork on this!

I have no doubt that a year from now there will be plenty of aftermarket stuff for the FZ6R. Yamaha is pushing this bike hard - speaking with my dealer yesterday this was one of the few bikes of which they had every color in stock.

Don't forget too that the FZ6R is technically very similar to the XJ6R Diversion in europe/australia, so many parts for those bikes should work on ours as well.

Also, with the economic downturn, I'm willing to bet that more riders looking for new bikes will steer towards a lower cost motorcycle like this one.

Thanks. Really the only things I might be looking to do is a bit wider shield (don't think taller really, just wind off the shoulders), maybe seat if this seat doesn't break in how I'd like, a mount and wiring for GPS and sometime in the future some hard bags match painted might be cool. Could care less about more performance, seems to have more than I need.

Looks like a good seat, I'm goin' to wait until 1,000 or so miles to see how this one breaks in before I make a decision. Right now I'm more interested in a shield and hooking up my Nuvi to the bike.

Any update on whether the flush mount blinkers or fender eliminator are specifically designed for the FZ6R?

The slip on for the fz6 is just as much and all they get is two cans. Our full exhaust looks to be cheaper than say an r6. Hopefully we will get a few more choices. Just excited to see one out there!

Awesome!!! Thanks! I am ordering this very soon. I've never dealt with motorcycles...what would this do to the exhaust sound?

why do they get the full exhaust and we just get slip-ons?
I think part of it is because the muffler/cat pretty much goes right into the headers? Maybe because they way they have to angle it? I have no ideal really.

I have no ideal what our exhaust note will be but you can get a ideal off you tube I am sure there is thousands of videos of two brothers exhaust. I am sure a few people on the forums can talk about the fz6's note.

Any luck finding the instructions on installing this exhaust on our bikes? Do you think it's an easy thing to do at home?

i would imagine its about the same level of difficulty as installing a full pipe on my old raptor 700; which is to say that any one who owns a decent set of hand tools and even the most modest of mechanical inclinations could do it while pounding down a six pack.

I agree with fuzzy, should be fairly easy and pain free. 1100 is kinda steep at the moment as well, might have to be a summer mod for me :D
