AIS block off ?

Instead of buying the block off plate for the AIS. Couldn't we just plug the holes with a rubber dowel cut to fit. I did that with my FZ1 and never had a problem with it. Or even grind down the nipple and JB weld the holes.

Should be able to i watched a video on YouTube were the guy used Jb weld and filled the tube part of stock plates,and had it all taped off & it would work great. I two cut out on a laser at my dads shop so it saved 30$
Where are you at in SC? My mom and sister live in Greer SC. That's what I'm going to do today. Block the AIS with JB or the rubber dowel.
