Air scoop light strip question

I am on the fence about which route to take with this mod, need some inputs from you guys before i pull the trigger. I currently have an intergrated tail light and proton flush mounts which are all yellow, so naturally yellow for the front scoop would match. Problem is i am going to install Hids soon and i need the front scoop to be as visible as possible so i was thinking red flashing in front would be alot for visible from the front. Which brings up legal issues, most blinkers i see are yellow, so would red be out of the question? How about those of you that have whites with Hids installed, are they visible or does the Hids drown them out. As always any inputs or pics helps and the leds are only 12 bucks but i'm in Hawaii so shipping equals or surpasses the cost of items. Thanks

Went with the yellow/amber, better safe than sorry, plus it matches and i don't look like a cop with a white bike and flashing red lights. Next question is if i wire it into the running light does it stay contantly on and flashes when i signal because that's what i'm trying to do. Thanks again. I'll document the install here when the lights come in. Gonna be a wholesome da with air scoop leds, AIS blockoffs , and Hids install in one day. Then i'm done for a while. I Think.

Here are a couple pics of my white leds installed against my blue angel eye. Don't know if I have one with the light on as well since pics are harder to take. The leds seem plenty visible and if they are a problem I will swap them out with amber ones. Technically I don't need them so they are in addition, but the inspection agent didn't like the visibility of my flushies from the front. I had integrated ZX6R mirrors on for inspection since they didn't like the visibility and they passed me. I didn't like the mirrors so I took them off and added the light pods and put my regular ZX6R mirrors back on. Didn't have my HID when I went for inspection, but did tell them I was adding the HID. PA allows any lighting that adds visibility to the bike. Just not allowed flashing lights while moving.

Yeah, don't think any state allows red blinking in the front. I probably should have gotten amber, but like the bright white. Hasn't been a problem and is very visible.

Mine are yellow and perfectly visible with my HID. White would look good, but blend in more with the HID. Plus they can kind of look blue depending on what ones you get which is a big no no with the popo. Red is a quick way to get yourself in big trouble really quick. Especially flashing red.

I would stear clear of the red or blue (flashing) colors also. I see big problems with the police if you do those. If it is flashing, stick with the yellow/amber again. I like what JT and Scott have done and want to do it myself also. Cant wait to see yours when done! Good luck.
