- how do you like the brakes stuff. how much of a difference do you feel over stock?

- radar detector. lol. any good?


i wasn't really planning on a lot of mods, but you guys are seriously giving me the itch.

I have the same setup on my front brakes, but I didn't touch the rear because I felt there wasn't much gain to be had. The braided lines combined with those pads feels like you've added a 3rd rotor up front! HUGE improvement over stock.

I spent many years playing with radar detectors with some friends of mine. One even took his sensors, extended them into his front grill and covered in plexi, then ran the led screen into his dash board. Hid the programmable buttons in his a/c controls. It was sweet until he wrecked the thing.

My take on radar is today most cops are shooting laser. The ones that aren't are shooting POP or instant on. IF you catch a signal with either of those, it's too late. I had been saved a few times by my detectors, but that was almost 10 years ago. That technology has been mostly phased out, just like the dinosaur brick cellphone I had back then ;)

I'd say you can spend your $200+ a better way, but just my 2 cents.

Would people like to see pictures of each specific mod? And a brief write up and review of the results?

I would be willing to do it, but it would take some time.

Like you said, depending on how big you make it, your going to need several threads on each different section. A review section, install section, and just add links and pictures to go along with it. Idk entirely up to you how much work you want to put into it and what you wanna do.

I wouldn't mind seeing pictures and a review on some items though. Of course installation threads on certain items we don't have in our database already would be quite helpful to the community.
