Pic of bike is for reference and not mine. I did a whole bunch of maintenance of the winter of 2022, when out for a ride and got fresh fuel. After a few trips (20-30km) I noticed a little bit of oil on my boot. I get home and see that my dumb ass missed a bolt when I was putting the cover back on. When it and found one on my desk, thought it was correct and did not verify it. The bike would not start the next morning, enter bigger mistake, I when to bump start it and still nothing. Had to have it towed to so I could work on it.
Going through trying to sort out why it's not starting and then I remove the timing cover to see my big mistake (pic attached). So after seeing this I then inspect the area and see no other damage and replace the part (timing mod).
I suspect that I do not have it installed properly so the timing sensor is not picking it up as it will not start, sounds like it needs fuel.
Thank you.
