You change it at 600 because they have a heavier oil in to start with and after running in it'll be full of metal shavings and shite from the bedding in process.
The free tires thing is usually a scam. By the time you're eligible for "free" replacement, you'll have more than paid for the tires in inflated service costs.I get free tires for life so long I do all the services with them. So for now Im doing just that.
You know now that I think about it, my dealership told me that my warrenty wouldnt go into affect until after I got my first service. So if I didnt do the first service there I would have no warrenty. Again thats just what they said to me and may not be true.
I agree with the previous post. My FZ6R rolled new out of the dealer a year ago and has never been back. I did not like the way they were giving me the hard sale on their maintenance program. They said that it was priced so low that they were losing money. Yea right!
