Congratulations on the new bike Eric, it looks real nice, I would love a FZ1 but the FZ6 is so much cheaper and is great for the commute  shame you got rid of the FZ6 but as long as you'll be still hanging around here thats great by me  I've had plenty of great info from you...

    GPS Reviews

Eric I don't know much about the tomtom rider 2 but I have the Zumo 500. Whilst looking into GPS's a while back the main differences were that the garmin plots a route based on waypoints, whereas tomtom plots a route based on via points. The Garmin can use an endless (or a very high number...

    this got me thinkin

The new FZ6R is redesigned, although the basics is from a R6 the head is totally new, which also gives it more torque but a lower top hp. So unfortunately a conversion would be a bit more complicated. Quote "Derived from the FZ6's engine, the FZ6R's inline-four acquires new crankcases in...

    FZ6R opinions from anyone..

It also got good reviews in the Dutch press (Motor and Promotor). It was said to be easier to ride than the FZ6 (and they said it was less "nervous" than the FZ6, smoother clutch and gearbox and more torque at lower revs). All round great beginners bike with ABS as standaard (in Holland anyway)...

October Road Trip Nordschleife, Trier, Paris, Gent

Really great photo's Andre  glad you posted them. Went to Trier last year with a group of bikers from my work (stayed in a youth hostel in the center of town), I believe it was even capital of the western Roman empire at one time. Great riding roads around those parts

    Went for a ride today...

Great pics, I like the pic of Lindos from a distance.. When I went on holiday there (about 8 years ago now) I remember the northern half of the Island having pretty good paved roads but the south was all gravel roads. We hired a Suzuki 4X4 (cage) so we could drive around the whole...

    Any good saddlebags out there?

I bought this Moto-detail bagage system today from motozoom: BTW photo is from the site. Tried them out at the shop, had a holder that secures to the seat and everything just clicks on, and it was on special offer €69,95. There were a lot of good reviews on the website too  I'll...

    Touring Tires

I too have the Pilot road 2's and I'm very happy with them, here's another link to Pilot road 2, if you look at the table of the test done by the German Motorrad magazine you can see that the PR2's came out on top, and the amazing thing was they were better in the wet than the Metzler sports...

If you're not happy with the route it chooses you can place new waypoints or remove old ones and calculate again. Click Ok (bottom right) if this is correct. If happy with the route it chooses all you need to do now is to "save as": This does not cover all types of GPS format but you...
