Turn signals not required in VA
Your flush mounts are fine. In VA you don't have to have turn signals on your motorcycle, BUT if you do have turn signals on your motorcycle then they have to work.
Added Clubman Bars, grips, bar ends, headlight brackets and headlight. Stripped the guts (light bulb and wiring) that came with this assembly and used my stock headlight bulb with rubber fitting, works great. I need to relocate the horn, I know I know. I still need to add the bar end mirrors.
Do you happen to have a name on the light or a part number? I got my brackets from Oldbikebarn.com and it will fit our 41mm forks with no problems. My light is a side screw mount. I will take a look at that website and see what they have. Thanks again!
Can you tell me where you got your round headlight and brand? I bought a 1976 Honda round headlight from oldbikebarn.com but I will have to strip wires and rewire. Having a wiring harness plug and play would be the better option.
I tried the belly pan way by attempting to make my own out of the original fairings, and probably can still pull it off if I change the location of the mounting holes, but I am now going with the black exhaust wrap idea instead.
I have been searching for a good universal Gauge, so thank you! TrailTech is the gauge you are speaking of I assume? If you already did this mod did you use the existing wiring to the current cluster to this one? I was hoping that the current setup would work instead of disconnecting everything...

If I ditch the current speedo then how do I control my turn...
I am going to change the speedo myself but I need a new speedo, I don't want to use my original. I am trying to tell oldbikebarn what my stock speedo ratio's are so I can order the right replacement speedo. But no one seems to know what our stock speedo ratios are.
If it is as easy as what...
Speedometer Ratios
Do you all know our stock speedometer ratios? Yamaha cannot help me, they said if it isn't published in their service manual then they cannot get it.
I am a complete NOOB when it comes to any of this. I am trying to change my speedometer (stock) on the FZ6R to the DL Digital Universal Speedo or something else. The dealer that is assisting me wants to know my stock ratios, do you have an answer for that? Can I assume it is (+1/+0) based on...
Sorry man, wasn't trying to create more than one. I asked a question about this on a 2009 thread and didn't know if anyone would ever see that. My bad. won't happen again.
