Because I shopped around, test rode several bikes, and finally decided the XJ6 was the best bike for me. I didn't read any tests; I prefer to make my own mind up!

I wear Kevlar jeans 90% of the time. until it gets too cold, then I wear my Wolf Titanium Outlast pants... The jeans look like normal jeans, but are a lot safer. they're not too heavy or warm either. I have a few different brands, but my favourites are Draggin' Jeans.

I have a set of heated grips fitted. Plus a set of MotoX "Bark Busters" to keep the worst of the wind & rain off. Works a treat with a good pair of gloves.

That is NOT a Super Sports. THAT is a Sports Tourer. An R1 is a Super Sports. A Sprint is NOT... Nor is a 955 Daytona...

Here in the UK it is legal; and I do it every day. I've put 8000 miles on my XJ6 since I bought it last August, mainly riding in city traffic. And yes, it is a risk - but isn't it also one of the features of riding a bike that makes it better than driving a cage? I don't get stuck in...
