    FS: 2009 FZ6R w/mods - South MS

Sorry guys for the lack of responses. A nice older fellow from Pensacola bought my 6R this morning for $4600. I sincerely hope he gets a lot of miles out of it. I didn't realize how sad I'd really be when I saw it leaving the driveway :'( I hope my neck heals and maybe next season if I'm in a...

    FS: 2009 FZ6R w/mods - South MS

Thanks Greg. When she finally does sell, I might shed a tear as she leaves the driveway. Also, if anybody has any serious interest in the Givi bags + mounting hardware, let me know. I preferred to sell it all together so I didn't have to take the hardware off (I know, lazy) and ship...

    FS: 2009 FZ6R w/mods - South MS

(Sold) FS: 2009 FZ6R w/mods - South MS Update: Sold :'( I'm currently selling my 2009 Yamaha FZ6R, asking $5300 (reduced). After lack of interest in the Givi bags, I'll consider selling the bike for around $5000 and sell the bags separately. I bought it brand new in July 2011 when...

I think that time has come - what's she worth?

Thanks guys, appreciate the advice. I think I'll wash it up, take some new pics tomorrow, put it available here first for around $5500 to start with, and then move on to craigslist, and just see how it goes from there. I don't need the money, so I have plenty of time.

I think that time has come - what's she worth?

I know I haven't showed my face here in quite a long time, but I do check in on the threads occasionally. I haven't rode much in several months, for a lot of reasons, some excusable, some not. My bike has been in the garage since December, and I've rode less and less since last labor day...

    Me too: My New Toy

I was actually probably the first one in the state of MS or TN to buy one. They just rolled off the trucks on Thursday or Friday. And yeah, the regular Veloster was very much lacking. I test drove the regular months ago, fell in love with it, except it didn't have the "oomph" I wanted...

    Me too: My New Toy

I drive 7 hours Thursday night from Hattiesburg, MS to Nashville, TN, stayed in a hotel room, then first thing Friday morning I was one of the first people in the state to pick up my new toy: 2013 Hyundai Veloster Turbo, Ultimate Package. This is an HDR pic (I'm on a HDR kick right now...

    ATGATT reminder

I pulled up beside a guy in helmet couple of weeks ago in polo, shorts, and flip-flops at a redlight, he was riding a bright green Ninja zx6r. For whatever reason he was revving his engine, I simply nodded, though when the green light hit he wasn't moving so I quickly navigated in front of him...

    Am I a terrible person?

Thanks for the input guys. I think I will take a break for at least a few weeks after I get my cage, perhaps wait until it starts cooling off in September. Lucky for me, I paid cash for the bike, so I don't have be nagged about the payment, just have to pay $250 / yr for insurance. If I'm not...

    Am I a terrible person?

Ok, first thread I've made in a long time, so here we go. I've only been riding a couple years now, July made it one year on the 6R, and for some reason, I just feel tired of riding. I don't feel that exhilaration anymore, and it feels like a burden more than anything else lately...

    The DSLR Picture Thread!

Thanks! I don't really consider myself talented, but I get a little better everytime I take out the camera. Sometimes it's just a game of numbers...I came back from vacation with 5300 photos, and just narrowed those down to the best 100 :)

    Triple Digit Temp and ATGATT

Thanks Greg! Yeah I think I just got burned out at work and when I came home, I refused to even look at a computer, much less browse forums and the like. A vacation cleared that up a little :) In other news, its not quite as hot here now - I just rode home through a thunderstorm :mad...

    Triple Digit Temp and ATGATT

In all seriousness, my wife and I have discussed moving to Oregon or Colorado within the last week. We took a long vacation to Europe a month back, and when we came back it really drove home how much we hate the weather here, the people, and pretty much the whole area... If I found a job...

    Triple Digit Temp and ATGATT

Hi guys! I guess I haven't checked in on the forums since fall, just got out of the habit I suppose. My 6R is still my main form of transportation (my wife has a car, I get the bike) so I've still managed to commute to work every day for the last year, winter included, except for a handful...

FS: Nelson Rigg Side bags & Powermadd Handguards

No, they're deeper than they are wide, and their width is no where near what you'd need to fit a helmet of any size. They were big enough to store my rain gear, cargo nets, the rain covers, a small towel, my iPad, headphones, lunch, couple bottles of water on a daily basis.
