    Synthetic vs. Standard

I believe our owner's manuel states to use only regular oil and not synth. We (Hubs puts it in the Bandit too... also an inline 4 - loves it! ) use the motorcyle specific oil from Wal-mart. $4.75 per 1 litre local.

Does The Gear Match The Bike?

Not sure if this belongs here or in "Product Review" This is a bit long so please bear with me ok? When I bought Zen I looked around for a new lid to match. The only one that even seemed remotely close was a beautiful Shoie flutter.... to the tune of $500.00 bones. A little out of my...

    highway riding is horrible!

I used to find that the little GS500 used to "sail" at a 45 degree angle in the wind on the h/way.... asked my buddy who runs the local MSF course for any remedies or suggestions, he said to tuck in closer to the tank and to look further down the road in strong wind and when being passed by a...

    Battery Charger

+1 on Battery Tender Jr. here as well. We bought 2 from the local dealer for 30 bones each a few years back. No issues with them at all and I like the fact that they have an "intermidate charge" indicator that will let you know when it is about 80% cycled. Great little gadget. We don't...
