First 2hr trip on the bike there & back

you're sore from tucking, because this bike really doesn't need to be tucked. It's a touring bike for the most part. Tucking on a bike like this is " unnatural ", it feels forced, and really not needed. Bend your head down, if you go SIT on an r6 / gsxr 600, cbr 600rr, etc, then you'll quickly...

What the deal with clip-on handle bars?

There is no real advantage , contrary to what people believe. The bike is designed for sport touring, I.E longer rides, more comfy. The people you see adding clip ons do it because they want the look / feel of a super sport, but dont' want to shell out the cash to purchase one.

Help Buying Used - What to look for

The Fz is overall a very solid bike, their are no real " known " major issues that plagued a majority of bikes. With that said, check for the normal issues you'd expect on a bike. Check for oil on the forks. This is quite important, with the cost of these used, they are a dime a dozen, don't...

    Leaving the Fz6r :(

I actually had the fz6 a while back, didn't realize just how awesome it was until it was gone. Also, I took the R6 out this morning, did some spirited runs, then took out the Fz6r and I gotta say, I'm likely going to keep the fz6r, any long distance traveling, and this thing has the r6 beat...

    Leaving the Fz6r :(

I finally moved along to a bigger bike, grabbed the 2016 r6. the good news is, the r6 is so balls to the walls, it's almost not as fun. It's about 2 - 3 inches taller, which makes flat footing nearly impossible, anything above 10k you're simply holding on for dear life, and if you thought...

    MotoBud.com Is here!

Thanks for the feedback. It's important to note that the the verification process isn't mandatory. We actually do this for a few reasons, most of them are pointed out in the pop up. while most social sites do only require you to verify an email to make sure you're a human, we actually allow...

Need help please bike wont start

i'm no mechanic either, but last season this happened to me.. let it sit for 4 months and drained the battery as i wired something up incorrectly. Well, my experience with these batteries is once they die , they are dead, no amount of charging can bring them back, even if they say they are charged.

Motorcycle meet up and group APP

Latony, Thanks so much for your ideas... I had the exact same vision. However... after speaking to the masses, the biggest complaint i received was " privacy ". Their were way to many people against showing on a map, than their were wanting to be on a map, even if the option to show up was a...

Motorcycle meet up and group APP

Thanks so much for the feedback. Im actually planning on dropping the mobile end of this completely. the main purpose of the mobile app is to receive notifications, and see who wants to ride with you, and see event dicsussions unfold. So, Im probably going to opt for sending text messages ( if...

Motorcycle meet up and group APP

Thanks for being positive. Although, I still have tons of question from a community standpoint. I did some surveying up in the north, michigan / washington / NY, and out of 200 surveys, i got a lot of the same feedback. However a lot of it didn't include reasoning. For example, a site...
