My bike is a 2014 with just under 20k miles. Referencing the attached pic, it looks like I have a coolant leak. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced what is shown in the pic or has thoughts on how to diagnose the cause.

Congrats on the new ride. Nice looking bike. Depending on what kind of riding you do, you may want to consider stainless steel brake lines and some suspension mods. A lot will depend on how much you want to spend. I went with the Leo Vince underbody full system, but they are pricey. I love the looks and sound. I also had a power commander installed and then got the bike dyno tuned after all that to get the best performance out of the new exhaust.

Here is the troubleshooting guide for overheating that is outlined in the service manual: low coolant level damaged or leaking radiator faulty radiator cap bent or damaged radiator fin damaged or faulty water pump thermostat thermostat stays closed oil cooler clogged or damaged oil cooler...

In my opinion, you are taking the right steps for the bike to sit over the winter months. I do not see the delayed oil change as a serious issue, but I think you want to get it changed before the bike sits for several months. It's my understanding that as oil breaks down during the riding...

I don't have any experience or ideas to help with exhaust mods. When I wanted a different exhaust, I went with a full underbody system from LeoVince. On the shifting issue, there are three things I noticed on my bike (yours may be different): (1) my bike shifts better in the 5k to 6k range...

I have both installed on my bike and they are working fine. No interference that I can see.

I can't answer your question but would suggest you contact the manufacturer of the exhaust to see if they have any data on how loud their systems are when installed. When I was looking at putting a LeoVince exhaust on my bike, I contacted them, and if I remember correctly, they provided numbers...

I also have a gear indicator. Here's a pic of where I mounted mine.

I did my suspension work two years ago. At that time, the Penske shock from Traxxion cost me $655, and I paid another $110 for a custom spring. I did not have to send the OEM shock to them. When they order from Penske, it is made to fit the FZ6R. Sorry, but I don't know what the differences are...
