...and animals are definitely out of the question.
And neither the dog nor the rider were wearing a helmet. Can you be a dog and a :squid: at the same time?
I've read a few reviews of the new model, and I've got to say that I'm in love with this one. Sadly, being 5'6" may mean having to lower it a little, but that's something I'll worry about in 5 years when my riding ability finally catches up with my dreams :o
I'm not sure that kind of...
Or take the sticker off, but use some clear packing tape to affix it to the bottom of the passenger seat. Still there when you need it, but not as much of an eyesore...
I started riding on a VStar 650, and made the move to the sport-bike "Dark Side" after about two years. Zero regrets. The handling, the riding position, the near electric power delivery are all far superior on the FZ6R. I'll still go for an occasional ride on the VStar, but, hands-down, my...
Welcome from Brighton, MI! Feel free to take a load off, have a look around and start planning for your next few mods. Lots of good info, and lots of good people hanging around here.
:welcome:
Not funny? I thought it was hysterical. Did anyone catch the choice of music for the motor cops? Singing about tequila during a motorcycle demonstration may not be the message they want to send
The group buy should still be active, give Nate at TRS a call and he'll hook you up. I got the Gatling II shroud and think it looks great, others think it's too big for the housing.
The kit is definitely top quality though, I was impressed with how solid everything is. They stand behind...
Turkey baster with a long piece of flexible tubing from Home Depot or an aquarium / pet store should do the trick. Worked wonders on my cruiser (though the Thanksgiving turkey sure sucked this year.)
Finally got the chance to do the full commute, and I like it even more now :) One thing I did notice is that with no wind hitting my chest, I tend to put a lot more pressure on my wrists. Scooting forward in the saddle helps quite a bit, but I've got to watch my riding position to make sure...
Got the screen on Friday and finally got it installed and ridden on Sunday. I'd post pics, but they'd look just like Taz's upload. Yes, the screen is big, but not so much you can't get used to it. I'm 5'7", and can see about 2-3 inches above the screen; certainly not enough to block the site...
+1 to the gear AND especially the MSF course. The course is probably the one best thing you could do for yourself and your bike. Having lots of farkles on the ride won't make it look any nicer if it's wrapped around a telephone pole.
Take the course, get (and wear) the gear, and just...
My younger son needed speech therapy for several years when he was first learning to speak. I know how painful and frustrating it can be to not understand what your child is trying to tell you. I'm not able to do much, as I just had to start a new job, but I've thrown in what I can. God bless.
