Wahey another FZ6R in Richmond. I've only ever seen maybe 2 or 3 on the road. The head of my riding group is spearheading that bike night after the one held at Quaker Steak stopped after they abruptly closed. Hope to see you out there next time I decide to show up.
I have them on my 6R with XJ6N plastics and they do not fit without trimming the plastic. If you don't mind cutting up the plastics then they fit no problem. That being said, I'm not using the stock mounting bracket for the left side(clutch side when sitting on the bike) so I'm not a great...
I had mine lowered for a season and while it wasn't exactly worse, it wasn't better. The handling did have quite a different feel for me, more stable but not better. The bike is really stable as it is with the stock height so it wasn't a net gain for me. Plus I still wasn't able to flat foot...
Depending on how you feel about the sound quality, it's better to not have the recesses in the ears unless the speakers already press on your ears while in the recess. I have a Scala rider G9 and bought the space fillers and the sound quality is a night and day difference at least for me...
I wondered about that since the headlight is slightly different between the 6R and the XJ. I'm currently trying to order the headlight fairing pieces but haven't heard back from Motomatakos yet. This is very helpful info. Thanks for providing that.
