    Arrow Exhaust

Thanks for the info. I ended up going with a Black Widow 300mm system. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Yamaha-FZ6R-2009-2017-Hi-Level-Exhaust-System-Steel-Carbon-Silencer-300BT/152419110639?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 I haven't got to start the bike up and listen to...

    Cowling/Screws/General Questions

Glad to hear you got most of the panels and screws sorted out. If you need anymore help post up a pic. As for the gas on the end of the dipstick, that sounds very odd. If you have that much gas in freshly changed oil then you must have a major fueling issue somewhere. Does the bike have...

    Cowling/Screws/General Questions

I just happen to have all of my panels at the moment. Could you possibly post some pics of the areas you need help with? Also, if there is a gasoline smell on the dipstick/in the oil you definitely need an oil and filter change for starters. After that we'll see. So, shoot me some pics and...

Ride On Clean Un-Lubed Chain to Warm It Up?

I use Simple Green to degrease the chain. I then wipe as much water off from the chain as possible. I typically don't warm the chain up before lubing it. I'll ususaly add a little more lube after my initial ride after cleaning. Chain technology has incresed so much in the years that...

What did you do to your bike today?

Resolved the turn signal issue I was having on my wife's bike by putting on a set of flush mount LED signals I found on E Bay for $50. Bike looks much better and the signals were a direct plug and play affair. No wire splicing or dremeling necessary

    The Interceptor is Back!

Yeah, back in the day the interceptor was the shiznit. I do like the retro paint scheme on the new one  For those of us old enough to remember the original :D

    Show Off your chicken strippies

Body position also has a lot to do with it. If you don't move off the seat much while leaning then you will most likely heva smaller strips up to a point. Whereas if you get of the seat and hang off the bike you might have larger strips. By hanging off the bike you keep the bike more...

How long have you owned your FZ6R

Never owned one. Wife got hers back in April of 2009. She likes it. If I could only get her on a liter bike though

    The Interceptor is Back!

There are other bikes that are just as heavy and slow to waste money on. Then agian, you wouldn't get the boring paint job :D

    Tire question

Rode on a plugged rear tire for many miles after plugging it. Had no issues. However, I did put on a new rear before I took a long weekend trip down to Arkansas. Didn't want to get caught out 400 miles from home. As for replacing the front at the same time, I wouldn't worry about it. You...

Hello all. New to the site and was hoping to get some information in order to fix the front turn signal issues I am having on my wife's bike. I have used the search feature and have not been able to come up with an answer to my issue. It is a 2009 FZ6R with about 12,000 miles on it. We...
