Glad to hear you got most of the panels and screws sorted out. If you need anymore help post up a pic.
As for the gas on the end of the dipstick, that sounds very odd. If you have that much gas in freshly changed oil then you must have a major fueling issue somewhere.
Does the bike have...
I just happen to have all of my panels at the moment.
Could you possibly post some pics of the areas you need help with?
Also, if there is a gasoline smell on the dipstick/in the oil you definitely need an oil and filter change for starters.
After that we'll see.

No wire splicing or dremeling necessary
Yeah, back in the day the interceptor was the shiznit.

For those of us old enough to remember the original :D
Body position also has a lot to do with it.
If you don't move off the seat much while leaning then you will most likely heva smaller strips up to a point.

Rode on a plugged rear tire for many miles after plugging it. Had no issues.
However, I did put on a new rear before I took a long weekend trip down to Arkansas. Didn't want to get caught out 400 miles from home.
As for replacing the front at the same time, I wouldn't worry about it. You...
Hello all.
New to the site and was hoping to get some information in order to fix the front turn signal issues I am having on my wife's bike. I have used the search feature and have not been able to come up with an answer to my issue.
It is a 2009 FZ6R with about 12,000 miles on it. We...
