Does anyone have a how to on changing the springs in the forks.
Like tools needed and all that great jazz.
I forgot where to buy the spring and emulator too
You'll need
- a measuring flask with fine graduations, think cooking utensil isle.
- the exact socket to take the caps off. (somewhere near 19,21,22mm I can't remember)
- a way to dangle the front of the bike so there's no load on the springs when you take the caps off.
- new fork oil. I remembered the stock was 4.7W. I used 10 W to replace (but I didn't use emulators), so you'd probably want to go with 5W.
Racetech sells emulators and springs.
Did you download the workshop manual ? All the pictures and locations of nuts and bolts are there.

I found what looks to be a pretty good howto but on a different bike. It should serve as a pretty good guideline. I suggest taking the forks off the bike.
