Indiana/Indianapolis Meet & Greet?

Indiana/Indianapolis Meet & Greet?


Since there are several of us forum members that live near or close in proximity to Indianapolis I thought maybe we could all set a day in April or May where we could meet up, shake some hands, take a ride & get to know each other, ect.

We could plan a ride & eat scenario. Maybe make a friend or two & at least know who we are typing to lol.

If anyone is interested in something like that reply to this thread with your thoughts. Never know, it could be fun.

I am game... A nice ride down to the martinsville area could be cool....

I am throwing this into the ring....

Meet on the south side of indy... corner of w thompson rd and 37 at the marathon station (this would put in 99's back yard!)

25 mile ride down 37 to martinsville, eat at sgt peppers (fried foods), if its warm enought and people want to explore we can, if its too cold we can ride back...

The are hundreds of roads to explore in the martinsville area per

I am from central Illinois and I would be up for a meet and greet depending upon the date. Hubby and I have the Busa Bash at the tail of the dragon April 24- May 1, otherwise I'm available. :)
 
Yeah, we have been planning something for a while. As far as April, chances are a negative for me. I was thinking more along the lines of June or July. I am getting married June 8th so May and beginning of June will be kind of crazy for me. =) Indy is a 3 hour ride south for me, so I am game as always.

Next time I am in fort wayne on the bike I will try and look you up!
 
I'm down. I will arrive in Indy this weekend to get myself moved into the apartment. I'm a cold weather rider, so I'll ride as long as the roads are clear. A meet and greet would also give me a chance to get to know some of the local scene without having to explore it all myself and accidentally get lost in the ghetto (if Indy has one, haha). I look forward to meeting some more fellow forum members.

Oh yes, yes it does. =D Go several blocks south down East St. from Morris and you'll find plenty of ghetto down there.. or if you go west on Morris just past the East St. intersection and the Burger King, you can visit all of the homeless people living under the bridge. Can get rough but still a nice city. Where(what apt.) did you end up moving into?

Good deal, nice place to be. Not too far from Greenwood Mall, tons of restaurants and big stores like Meijer, Lowes, etc.

There's plenty of ghetto area in Indy. Once outside the loop it get better but I remember driving around the South West... wasn't nice there. East side was event worst.

Your in luck, im seeing temps in the high 50's in this weekends forecast.If you want to cruise around and familiarise yourself with your new location let me know.I'll be out and about all weekend, I wont even need my thick gloves so I'll definitely be game.I'll finally be able to feel my clutch again, im excited lol
 
If you make your way down south to Greenwood an like pizza check out tony Sacco's. A buddy of mine owns it and it's damn good pizza.
