Modified stock decals

so i decided to take off my decals but i noticed i couldnt take off the ones one the tank so i decided to try and cut the decals on the fairings in line with the tank ones to get a cleaner look here are the results

I will be getting a 2012 raven soon and am thinking of doing the same. I've taken off decals on bikes before by heating them up with a blow dryer and they peel off easily but i've never cut a decal while leaving some of it still on. How did you go about doing this so that you were left with a clean cut that blended in well and didn't start peeling off at the edge you cut on?

i used a razor blade to lightly cut it so it wouldnt scratch than peeled it off with a blow dryer and there is no peeling or anything of the sort

Just as he said.... lightly cut with a super sharp blade. peel of decal not wanted

I will trade you straight up my 2011 raven tank if you want one without decals. I was at the dealer picking up some parts and I am already looking at buying the 2012 decals for my raven after seeing the 2012 in person. A matching tank would finish it all up

I'm still down for this. My fairings and my tank are MINT. I would throw some cash your way if you would trade me your 2012 raven fairings for my 2011 fairings. Don't waste a good fairing and make some cash too
