Best Grips I have ever seen

Talking with a buddy of mine on another forum and he told me to try the grips he has to reduce vibration, he said they are better than anything he has ever tried. Every review after stumbling across these has made me wonder why no one has ever shed light on these here.

anyways....I think I am going to order a set. Trying to decide black on black with the new model or yellow and black with the original model.

Found them on amazon for $16.73 with free shipping. Did it in my amazon app so don't have a link for you. It seems they are universal has anyone tried these on our bike? Wonder how the fit is?

Fit is fine they are a uni fit. Make sure you pick the correct model. Cycle giant is one of the best retailers for it

These look like they could be nice.. Narrower by the thumb where it should be then tapered wider towards the palm.. Sounds like it contours to the hand pretty well.

Well I ordered the red ones from the top pic in this thread off amazon for about $17 shipped. I installed them yesterday and went for an hour and a half ride today and wow do they help cut vibration down. I instantly noticed a difference and by the end of the ride the only thing hurting was my butt! Plus they look great IMO.

The Peak grip, which is the first one pictured, is very different from the SLR grip pictured below. It's new and not everybody carrying it yet.

That's how they come. I could change out to clip ons, but I don't like being hunched over that far. The Rizoma bars I'm getting are lower than the stock ones though, but not near as bad as clip ons would be.

I like bars better than clips, more travel to dampen vibs. That's my only complaint on the ninja is my arms go numb so fast. That's also partly because I'm a big guy as well not just the ninja lol

Yeah, even without weighted bar ends on them, I don't get numb hands. Which is funny since I do get numb hands on the 6R after awhile and it has weighted bar ends and has low vibrations from the engine. :don'tknow:

I also ordered the black grips from Amazon --- less than $17 shipped. Installed them tonight and used the guidelines on Spider's website. I didn't have an air compressor, so I used the piece of wire "crank" method to get the old grips off. Worked really easy on the clutch side. On the throttle side, I added a little dish soap, which made that grip come off super easy. Per the instructions from Spider, I used hair spray when putting on the new grips.

They feel and look great, but I haven't ridden with them yet. Can't wait!

I ordered a set of the Peak grips in black from Amazon too.
They have the center groove for the safety wire I always put on my grips.

The "Peak" grips seriously have me intrigued. I've been thinking that wider grips would help the hand cramps, and the fact the grips get smaller on the pinky-finger has bothered me.

The write-up on the technology incorporated into the new "Peak" grips has made me very hopeful, though.

I can't wait for a review after some ride-time!

I changed my throttle tube a few days ago to one with a shorter "throw" and went ahead and put the Peak grip on before I switched it. I waited to put the left one on until I changed my handle bars, which I just did. Right as I was getting everything back together it started raining, so I couldn't test the bar or complete set of grips.

However, the throttle side grip I've used for nearly a week now, and I like the look, and feel of it a lot.

I just bought the all black spider grips from amazon for 16.00 bucks ill put picks up afterwards but the stock grips have to go from yamaha they suck and i am constantly fighting numbness and tingling on over an hour ride
