Talking with a buddy of mine on another forum and he told me to try the grips he has to reduce vibration, he said they are better than anything he has ever tried. Every review after stumbling across these has made me wonder why no one has ever shed light on these here.

anyways....I think I am going to order a set. Trying to decide black on black with the new model or yellow and black with the original model.

Spider PEAK Grip with Hands-On Technology

The new Spider Peak Grip is designed for performance road & sport touring riders. Our goal was to design a performance grip that is more than just a replacement for stock OE grips. The Spider Peak was conceived, designed, tested and championship proven by our Spider Grips Ducati Race Team, and is now available at your local dealer.

Racers look for an advantage from every detail on the motorcycle, selecting each part for what it can add to the effort to finish first. While most race teams have to choose a grip off the shelf, the Spider Grips Race Team can make a grip that meets our demands. Originally designed for competition, every feature of the Spider Peak Grip offers something extra for the sport touring and daily street rider.

Aggressive Tread Pattern: creates a more secure bond between rider and motorcycle, increasing comfort and tactical feedback.

Tapered Shape: Slim at the inside for maximum performance and thicker at the outside end where a harmonic damper reduces vibration and numbness for relaxed long distance riding.

Traction Gel: Softer outer layer sheds water, increases gripping power and reduces fatigue for greater comfort over the long haul.

Acoustical Rebound Core: engineered with an advanced boundary layer shaped to dampen and reflect vibration away from your hand unlike any other grip on the market.

125mm: grip length and inset grooves for throttle tubes provide easy fit to OE throttles.

otherwise a less road racing grip:

Vibration Dampening Core Thin and precise, this dual layer grip is perfect for Competition, Sport, Road and Super Moto riders. Spider SLR grips are designed with a Vibration Damping Core. This Acoustical Rebound Layer is engineered with your riding in mind.

Spider’s grip design has a specially shaped core with an innovative boundary layer. This gives you a grip with less vibration at the hand which reduces hand fatigue and arm pump, and also lets you listen to feedback from the machine and tailor your response accordingly. Traction Gel Spider SLR grips feature

Traction Gel – a specially formulated compound that sheds mud and water so that it stays tacky even when wet making it easier to hold on. This gives better control and less rider fatigue. Just like a competition tire, Traction Gel breaks in and continues to offer topperformance throughout the life of the grip.

Dual Gel Layers Dual Gel layers dampen vibration and provide great traction. Narrow Flange, Open End – Easy to Mount A narrow flange and open end make the SLR easy to mount even with bar ends or hand guards.

Colors The SLR grips are available in 10 colors. Red, Orange, Graphite, Yellow, Titanium, Blue, Black w/Graphite, Green, Pink, and our only All Black Motorcycle grip. Retail: $16.95

Fit is fine they are a uni fit. Make sure you pick the correct model. Cycle giant is one of the best retailers for it

I like bars better than clips, more travel to dampen vibs. That's my only complaint on the ninja is my arms go numb so fast. That's also partly because I'm a big guy as well not just the ninja lol

I also ordered the black grips from Amazon --- less than $17 shipped. Installed them tonight and used the guidelines on Spider's website. I didn't have an air compressor, so I used the piece of wire "crank" method to get the old grips off. Worked really easy on the clutch side. On the throttle side, I added a little dish soap, which made that grip come off super easy. Per the instructions from Spider, I used hair spray when putting on the new grips.

They feel and look great, but I haven't ridden with them yet. Can't wait!

I ordered a set of the Peak grips in black from Amazon too.
They have the center groove for the safety wire I always put on my grips.

I just bought the all black spider grips from amazon for 16.00 bucks ill put picks up afterwards but the stock grips have to go from yamaha they suck and i am constantly fighting numbness and tingling on over an hour ride
