Sure seems like it today. I mean it hasn't stopped. Even when they said it was going to be clear it just kept coming down. Like I said above, I'm going to be purchasing some stuff so the next time it wont matter if it rains. Start with the tail bag so I can at least bring other clothes to change in to. Then I'll look into some form of rain gear (taking suggestions).

Hey guys, that was a lot of fun. I am glad I had ear plugs, I think there was a fighter jet behind me for a little bit. I will be looking forward to the next group ride.

I still can't believe, no rain for weeks, no more after today for a while... just the one day we decide to ride... what were the chances.
 
If it wouldn't be for bad luck I wouldn't have any.

Good ride though. It was great to meet everyone.

It sucked that we didn't know you weren't coming. We sat for over an hour. I know that I was starting to wonder if you were ok.

Not sure why my texts weren't going through. There was pretty good signal at the meet up point on Saturday. I sent an on the way message on Saturday when I left to meet Don, not sure why it didn't get there 'til yesterday (damn Verizon! :banghead:). Sorry for keeping you guys waiting.

Voice has priority over data and data bandwidth is nowhere as high as it should be with any carrier due to the ever increasing growth and usage.

Data passed voice in usage by 1000% since two Years ago according to our, companies, statistics. I work for the leading tower company in the world.

The way we usually handle things like this, is firm kickstand up times... and a couple of "catch up spots" on the route. Since this was a short ride though, that's kind of tough to do.

It was just the strangest thing I'd ever seen in my life, your earlier texts came through from Sun morning, then , right after I got to the spot, the last one which was from Sat (hmm, wonder if a tower in that area was storing it???? and never passed it on until I got back into range, didn't timeout or something).
 
In the future, I'll just call instead or in addition to a text. It upsets me that you guys waited an hour and lost valuable riding time due to a delayed message. If I had just called you could've been riding. I apologize.
