i would be down for that. as long i am able to get off.. at this point something like that for me would have to be in the spring only because iv requested a lot of days off over the weekends these past few months and i dotn want to push it. my boss still might give me a saturday or sunday off but its by luck of the draw...
 
Chris and I met up for a ride today...









It was a good time. I pretty much took Chris through all the back roads of the area and then we ate "breakfast" at a very nice local restaurant. It was a great day.
 
Indeed, I don't mind riding up to Shrewsbury, thats not too far of a drive. Gettysburg/Chambersburg is quite a bit further.

Yeah, and as long as it isn't frigid, riding to shrewsbury for me isn't too bad. There are better roads to ride on, but I figured it would take hours...We will have to do that next time.
 
Sounds like the perfect opportunity to get some rain riding skills in! :noworries::rockon:

We'll just have to sit back and see what happens. Probably check here before heading out and make a decision.

If I had rain gear maybe...lol. Still have a few days maybe it'll change.
 
Yeah, I do not own rain gear either. I have ridden in the rain, and do not like it. I will if I have to, but won't willingly go out in it.
 
Rain definitely takes the fun out of it. Hoping the forecast will change by then.
 
Yeah mother nature is not with us on this one. It's supposed to rain all day here tomorrow. I'll check the weather when I get up and see if maybe they got this one wrong. It really sucks since the route Don picked was a good one (we rode it today :D). Maybe start throwing out suggestions for a new date. I may be pretty busy the rest of the weekends in Sept, so maybe some time in October.
 
You forgot to ask "Why did the chicken cross the road?"

No, seriously, we want to know why the chicken crossed the road:confused::confused::confused::rof:
 
So lets chat first thing in the morning say 8:30 and decide how things look???

I know some of you would be coming down a couple of hours, so we'd have to decide by 9 to either do it or not, or to maybe do it a little later in the day.
