Yes, I did, and we have it all set up for him to meet me in Chambersburg, and we are going to ride together. We lost FZ6RJim and his uncle, so we can just run down 81.
My fiancee is coming but she isn't riding her bike because she feels like she would hold the entire group up. She has been riding a year, but is still very cautious. So she wants to ride with me.
Yeah, if you think I'm going to be doing 90 in a 25... especially with a group... think again. Some of the turns are blind and I'll slow down for unseen gravel/squished animals on every one.
The route I picked is really forgiving (as much as I've seen, I still have to check out the new little section), if she wants to get more confidence, this is the type of ride to do it on.

I have forwarded her the link so she can read it. She has a Savage, a 650cc Thumper that is really loud now that I put a new exhaust on for her. I know she is going to stick out like a sore thumb.

I can't make a monday ride because I have to work 12-9pm.. Retail man.. It's great Job security but the schedule sucks.. This Sunday I actually have plans. Then I can't make the 12th.. After that, I haven't seen the schedule yet so I don't know when I'm off next. I will have to get with you guys about the pa ride.

Yes, a PA ride would be nice. And we should have cooler days ahead, so we still have plenty of time this year.

Do you know anyone in your area that you could meet up with? It would be a bit of a drive for you to get down this way.
I know a most of the area of Hershey but haven't really explored more of it with s bike point of view... I know there is some awesome ridding up thought perry county. A lot if country roads that are black topped and always nice scenery. Maybe ride up tower city way.. I no that's a long ride for most..
Well I did a second run of part of our route, it is fine. Easy too, just go straight till it dead ends, hang a left, repeat. It's a nice little route.
Still worried about gravel ,especially if it t-storms next week, but that's part of the fun/danger of riding backroads, it didn't look like any of the gravel drives were in turns for major gravel, but there was still the one spot, not quiet as bad.

Just an update. I am still going for the ride on the 12th. As for a PA ride. I live right on PA 125. Which is a great motorcycle road. If people are interested in doing a PA ride I have a series of good roads from Lebanon, PA up to Shamokin, PA. We can also detour over to Centralia, PA if people are interested in seeing that.
Start considering dates if you are interested.
