So I'm out riding today and I pass by the Yamaha dealer and right outside there's, what I thought, a FZ6R. Well I know they don't have those here so I stopped in and it turned out to be the XJ6.
It's actually the same bike as the FZ6R but without the full fairing - oh and it has ABS and an alarm. We'll I thought it was pretty cool especially in the additional colors they offer the bike in.
Turns out the dealership wanted to see my FZ6R because they had not seen one yet. Even the mechanics came out to have a look see.
Well after that I scheduled my first service with them and reserved my spot for the winter. Turns out they offer a winter storing option where they condition the bike for storage over the winter and do a service before it goes in and when you pick it up in the Spring.
Can't wait for Spring!!!
Oh and the retail prince for the XJ6 here is 8k Euros and there's no negotiating here. That's over 11.5K for the same bike!!
