what type is the tail light connector?

I need to install my brake light flashing pods, but would like to avoid cutting any wires.

So what I was thinking is building a T adapter with male and female connectors.
that way I can patch into that.

Anyone know what male and female connectors I'd have to order?

Lot Of 100 Scotch Lock Quick Splice Connectors Blue ..only link I could find with a good picture

sounds like these might work for what you got going on. I've used them for stereo installs over the years. Have never had one fail or produce a weak signal.

easily found at WalMart or any auto parts store.

You put the wire you want to tap into in the open/hollow side and the wire you want to connect into the closed-off side, squeeze the metal clip down with pliers to make the connection and then close the cover. Simple.
