What brand brake lines?

I did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions from owners... Various complaints about a lot of brands led me to Spielger or HEL, HEL being the first choice. Many of the others had fitment problems, banjo's rusting, colors fading, etc.... So I got HEL for both mine and the wife's bikes.

Coming from stock to SS lines? You need to re-learn your bike's braking! A lot less pressure and more sensitive is VERY true. My first near-emergency stop was a stoppie! So, I spend the afternoon testing and practicing with the new brake lines and now I know the limits.

HEL would be my number one recommendation.

I'm pretty sure I'm gonna go with the hel lines too.
