Question What are these 2 bolts for?

Hello,

Does anyone know if these 2 bolts serve any purpose other than to hold the little metal piece fairings attach to as they seem to be stripped on my bike?

The service manual doesn't seem to show anything there other than the metal piece the fairing attaches to. Same with the parts diagrams online. I think it's safe to say there is no other purpose for those bolts.
