Vlogging...

I have been watching a lot of you tube vids and there are many ways to record video while riding. What camcorder is best for VLogging? I have checked the search option with no results.

The Contour HD 1080p and the GoPro HD cams seem to be very popular. Run your search for those and you should get some hits.

The most efficient way to actually do it is to use either A) a contour HD or B) a gopro HD, THEN use a digital voice recorder with an external mike wired inside the helmet. This allows you to not have any modifications to the helmets structure, and no modding of a $300+ camera!

i would go with gopro, but...
the gopro and contour dont have external mics, so that makes them suck for vlogging...

Well I have my contour HD set at mic sensitivity 5, mounted outside my helmet, and at low in town speeds I can hear myself talk and no wind noise. At anythign above 30, the voice recorder and eexternal mic will cost your like $50 total....Way cheaper than voiding your new cameras warranty and risk it not working!
