So I was getting ready to run my twisties Monday, and doing my little preinspection in my garage. I hadn't checked my oil level in some time, so I did so. It was at about half.
As for method, I check the oil the way the manual says to do it. I last checked it two weeks or so ago. It was no longer at full, but wasn't very short of it.
Has anyone had an experience with an FZ6R burning oil like that? It seems excessive and it honestly has me worried.
On a side note, the level so surprised me that I topped it off with used oil - used break-in oil! Doh! So then I had to do an oil and filter change, and there goes the ride. *sigh*
